Mediterranean Diet (which basically means the diet of people from Greece, Italy, etc.) consists of fruits, vegetables, wine, whole grains, beans, nuts, fish, and olive oil, but low in meat and dairy. Looking at those list, it should be on top of every weight loss practitioner's diet. What's more, and expectedly, this diet will not only in weight loss but is beneficial to one's health.
A research from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluded that "Conformity to the traditional Mediterranean diet may be associated with lower breast cancer risk among postmenopausal women and could explain, in part, the lower incidence of this disease in Mediterranean countries".
